Human body modeling and parameterization objecting to garment design

Abstract:
This paper acquired human body surface model by surface reconstruction method and then parameterized and deformed. Divided reconstruction process into two steps including pretreatment and surface generation. Used the technologies including human body cut loop and surface smoothing to get body surface and parameterized model. Applying interpolation and sizes deformation onto the parameterized model, acquired customized or serialized human body model, and then these models would support 3D garment design very well.
