Mobile agent based application follow-me mobility in pervasive computing

A new requirement of application follow-me mobility was advanced to make better use of pervasive computing resources,reduce human intervention and thereby improve work efficiency.Namely,application should follow mobile users when they change to a different environment,in order to let them enjoy uninterrupted computing experience.A mobile agent based pervasive computing middleware FollowMeAgent was proposed to enable application follow-me migration.By leveraging context-awareness techniques,application was capable of migrating autonomously.Migration strategies were refined according to the characteristics of different applications.On top of FollowMeAgent middleware,some applications were implemented and performance was evaluated.
