Research on churn problem in large-scale live streaming media system
|
Abstract:
In the P2P live broadcasting system, the nodes join and leave the P2P system at high rates, which is called churn problem and seriously affects the system design and performance. Through analysis of probability distribution theory of the session time in the P2P system, this paper gave a peer selection strategy against the churn to enhance system stability which was full use of the long session time of the nodes. Finally, it is proved this strategy reduces the impact of the churn.
