Alarm event correlation, which can reduce redundant alarm events, is a key problem to network management. If considering time relationship between events, the problem becomes more complicated. Under the consideration of time factor, a correlation model based on FSM is put forward, and alarm correlation processor is implemented, which correlates the events correctly and reduces the redundant alarms efficiently.
