Mobile Ad hoc Network-based Hybrid Video Transmission Scheme

The Hybrid video Downloading/Streaming (HDS) scheme efficiently integrates traditional Client/Server based streaming mode and Peer-to-Peer-based downloading mode, and uses a receiver-driven algorithm to coordinate the state transition between these two modes. Using the HDS scheme in mobile Ad hoc network forms the hybrid video transmission scheme based on Ad hoc network, and this scheme improves and completes the delivery of video streaming over wireless network.
