Research on Model of WLAN Testing and Evaluation

With the popularization of Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN),such methods as protocol analysis and wireless RF analysis can not satisfy the requirement of WLAN testing completely.A comprehensive testing and analysis method is necessary. In this paper, a model of WLAN testing and evaluation is proposed on the basis of the study of 802.11 and application.This model comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the performances of WLAN in five aspects, and it can help network workers install WLAN, test the performances, diagnose trouble and manage running of WLAN.
