Image Text Location Based on Color Edge and SVM
基于颜色边缘与SVM的图像文本定位

A new method of text location based on color edge and SVM is presented. Color edge characteristics of characters are used for coarse filtration first. Then a pretrained SVM is used to classify text and non-text and the text region are located. The experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.
