Adaptive algorithm of image edge detection based on morphology multi-structural elements
一种基于形态学多结构元的自适应边缘检测算法*

Edge detection based-on morphology is one of new methods in the field of image processing. The traditional method, for instance, single structure, loses some edge information. In order to make edge detection effective, this paper proposed a new algorithm that was a self-adaptive one of image edge detection methods based on morphology multi-structural elements. Experimental result indicates that it can obtain better edge in image processing than traditional method, and has strong ability of eliminating noise as well as keeps clear image edge.The algorithm is proved to be an ideal edge detection method.
