Indexing Techniques in Content-based Image Retrieval

This paper provides a survey of current indexing techniques in content-based image retrieval at first, then the problems to be solved and the new directions in the future in this domain are pointed out. In the end, it proposes a new indexing scheme with the combination of a new clustering algorithm and a new idea of dimensionality reduction.
