Event-based Analyzing Technology in News Report:Introductory Review

Abstract:
The definitions relevant to event based analyzing techniques in news report were firstly presented and a frame of event based analyzing techniques in news report was proposed,and then key techniques were discussed from four aspects: event detection,event tracking,event related document summarization and event RSU retrieval.Some key techniques were classified and evaluated,and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.Based on the analysis and comparison,the improved methods and suggestions were presented.At last,the problems of current research were discussed and the future directions of event based analyzing techniques in news report were pointed out.
