OWL-encoded ontological model of business process for management information system

The traditional way of developing MIS software,which fixed the business process in the codes of the software,had brought about many update and maintenance issues.This paper presented an approach of solving these problems by introducing the ontology theory into the modeling and development of MIS software and proposed an OWL-encoded ontological model for business process of MIS.
