An Improved Adaptive Information Hiding Algorithm for Image

Based on the detailed analysis of digital image pixel-value differencing hiding method, an improved adaptive information hiding algorithm is proposed. Taking full advantage of all kinds of masking characteristics of the human visual system and incorporating the local feature of digital image, the algorithm embeds secret information self-adaptively. As a result, the changes in the cover image are more imperceptible. Experimental results show that the improved method is easy to implement, and that the more capacity of hiding information and the better robustness are achieved, and accordingly the conflict between the technical requirements for an information hiding system is alleviated.
