Study of Peer to Peer Architecture for Distributed Intrusion Detection System

After discussing the architecture of existent distributed intrusion detection system, a novel peer to peer architecture for distributed intrusion detection system (P2PDIDS) is presented. In this architecture, a log database and a communication component are designed to solve the problems of the traditional P2P structure. By this way, the security and performance of distributed intrusion detection can be increased more.
