Capture and Preprocess of Palmprint Image
掌纹图像的获取及其预处理*

A method of capturing palmprint image without any limitation was proposed,and a palmprint database had been built using this method.This palmprint database could be training set and testing set of palmprint identification algorithm,and also could be a base of the advancement of research and development of palmprint identification.Based on this database,this paper had done some preprocessing to the palmprint images.After translated the original image into binary image,found two key positioning points in the palmprint image using automatic detecting method.Then the palmprint image was rotated according to the two key positioning points.Finally,a sub-image of the rotated palmprint image was cut for further abstracting of palmprint features.
