Abstract:
From the viewpoint of strategy theory, AQM (Active Queue Management) can be considered as an optimal strategy problem. In this paper, a new AQM scheme, Proportional Derivative Feedback Feedforward (PDFF), is described based on the optimal strategy theory of PDFF. Aiming to response the delay quickly and stabilize the queue length, PDFF adjusts the sender rate adaptively according to the instantaneous delay. Simulation demonstrates that PDFF can lead to the convergence of the queue length to the desired value quickly and maintain the oscillation small. The results also show that the performance excellence of the PDFF scheme in terms of the lower link delay, the lower loss rate and fast system response.
