Research of the Route Flapping

Route flapping is the main factor of the Internet instability.Frequent flapping will aggravate the load of CPUs in routers, and increase the consume of the networks bandwidth, even can result in net collapse. Two methods to soften the influence of route flapping:route flap damping and route aggregation are described in detail.
