DMC-based Dual Closed-loops Control under Internet Environment
|
Abstract:
Closed-loop real-time control over Internet is very difficult because of the uncertain Internet time-delay influencing the dynamic performance of control systems during Internet transmission.A dual closed-loops control strategy based on DMC is proposed to deal with these problems.Combining with dual-rate sampling ideal, the local closed-loop controller is running at a higher frequency to stabilize the plant and the remote controller at a lower frequency implements the global control function. Two time-delay compensators based on Dynamic Matrix Controller(DMC)are designed to compensate Internet time delay in the feed-forward and feedback channels. The simulation results show the efficiency of the new control method for overcoming the Internet time-delay.
