Research of Real-time VODBased on Middleware
基于中间件的实时VOD系统研究*

This paper introduces the current research of Voice On Demand(VOD) service, puts forword to reduce bandwidth utilization and user perceived delays significantly by adding the middleware component in the video proxy along the path between clients and servers. The experiment shows that the bandwidth utilization and the reduction of user perceived VOD startup delays in the case of prefix cache hit.
