Image Detection to Vehicle Queue Length of Crossway Based on DSP

The design of image detection to vehicle queue length at crossway based on DSP is presented. This paper explains the hardware structure and main progam of the image detection system and the vehicle queue length extraction method . The system is applied to the city traffic signal control machine, and it shows the system is better than the means using inductance coil for acquisition precision, fixing, etc.
