Research on wireless video transmission scheme based on MPEG 4
基于MPEG 4的无线视频传输方案的研究*

A UEP(unequal error protection)scheme for wireless video transmission based on MPEG 4 was proposed.Packet loss rate was used to select the method of the protection of the video bitstream. In error_prone channel, texture information and motion information of the MPEG 4 bitstream were protected in different ways.In order to guarantee video quality, using FEC(forward error correction) to protect the motion information. In error_free channel, for decreasing the redundancy data, the bitstream was transmitted directly without any protection.
