Application of GIS Technique in Regionalization of Regional Potential Land Use of Jiangsu Province
GIS技术在区域土地开发适宜性分区中的应用——以江苏省为例

The paper mainly introduced the application of GIS technique in regionalization of regional potential land use.The regionalization puts the natural ecology elements and social economy elements together on the evaluate units,and divides the grades of ecological protection and economical demands by cluster analysis.GIS methods play an important role in attaching,processing and gathering the elements' data of the spatial units.The paper use the GIS methods to creating the basic spatial information database,and processing the polygon data by overlapping analyst,the linear data by network analysis,the statistic data by join analysis,the evaluate data by superaddition analysis,and these methods make the data collection,organization and analyst more easier,and the thematic map make the result more intuitionistic.Especially,through combined the graphics processing and the spatial data operation organically,the spatial overlapping analyst resolved the division from natural elements to administrative evaluate units.Finally,the paper took Jiangsu province as a case study for the GIS methods use in the regiona-lization of land use.
