Design of Network Intrusion Detection System Based on IPv6 Protocol Analysis

Abstract:
In this paper, a new designing method of network intrusion detection system based on protocol analysis is put forward aimed at the structure characters of IPv6 protocols in next generation Internet. At the same time, a detailed designing scheme and implementation method are provided based on of the Snort system. The virtues of this system are: supplying data to detection engine, improving the detection validity and efficiency.
