Presents a unified framework for system-level modeling and simulation using open-source software SCILAB/ SCICOS. The proposed method realizes the consistency of models and physical systems and is feasible and efficient for communication systems modeling and simulation, This paper summarizes the proposed methodology and gives some examples.
