Research and Design of CAD System Based on Gesture and Sketch in Conceptual Design

Under the guidance of cognitive psychology, this paper analyzes the process in conceptual design. CAD system development should be inspiration-centered. This paper describes the new design methods and interactive technologies to aid the conceptual design. It introduces sketch technology based on the gesture and the revolutionary PIBG paradigm. It analyzes the interactive constraint capture for synchronous editing, and the constraint solution. Finally, we design and implement the prototype system which supplies the natural and harmonious interface for users.
