Method and Its Implementation of Converting DWG Graphics File into DEM
DWG图形文件直接生成DEM的方法和实现*

Taking the terrain map of Wuhan reach of the Yangtze River for example,seeked for a method picking up terrain information from ACAD DWG graphics file,transformating the data,importing to the GIS software and finally interpolating into DEM by using GIS software and program.The method made a full use of terrain map information and obtained a high accuracy DEM data with a low cost in a fast and direct way.It improved the efficiency and precision of the digitalization and made GIS more available apply in scientific research of water conservancy such as channel revolution,river pattern analysis,sediment deposition analysis,etc.
