A Dynamic Authenticated Group Key Agreement Scheme

Abstract:
In order to make group key agreement protocol to resist against active attacks, an effective authenticated scheme is presented. The scheme is based on an authenticated two-party key agreement protocol. First, an unauthenticated version of the protocol is presented. Then two-party authenticated version, one-party authenticated version and unauthenticated version are combined using binary key tree. The new scheme provides implicit key authentication and perfect forward secrecy etc, Its com- municational cost is constant and its computational cost is in direct ratio to the logarithm of the number of group members.
