Software Process Management Based on Statistical Process Control

Abstract:
Quantitative management is the key of efficient software process management. Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology can decide whether a software process is abnormal or not, is an important tool to predicate the future behavior of software processes. Integrating SPC technology into software processes can fulfill the quantitative management of software processes, and achieve the goals of CMMI level 4 and 5.
