Research and application of new compression method aimed at vector data
增强型矢量数据压缩算法的设计与实现

Firstly, this paper discussed several classical compressing algorithms. Based on the analyses of the problems caused by applying these algorithms to the electronic map, put forward a new vector data compressing algorithm, whereafter, tested the reliability of the algorithm.
