Systematic Framework and Methods for Multimedia Mining

Proposed a general framework and a model suitable for multimedia mining, including multi-dimensional data cube, mining engine, interactive mining interface. In this framework, heterogeneous-feature space, new mining methods, new form of patterns and knowledge applicable to multimedia data are crucial to be introduced and discussed. The preliminary experiment on video structure mining indicates the proposed framework is valid.
