With the development of GIS, network technology and the wide application of data storage technology,data processing of GIS represents the characteristics of multiuser,distributed and networking.Introduced an entityoriented spatial data model that has broken up the spatial data processing model based on layers,has relized span sheet computing and has also fulfilled some goals of 4th Generation GIS,such as the entityoriented orgnization of spatial data ,the uniform massive data storage and analysis,distributed effective computing of spatial data.
