Media Processor Design and Buffer Research in Multimedia Conferencing System
多媒体会议系统中混频器的结构及缓冲区的研究

In multimedia conferencing system, Media Processor ( MP) takes the responsibilities of linking, exchanging, mixing, transmitting all kinds of media stream such as audio, video, and data stream. The processing capability of MP directly influences the performance of the whole conferencing system. Analyze communication architecture for media mixing, and present a new model of MP for significantly reducing bandwidth consumption; at the same time we propose the optimal designation ruleofbuffersizeinordertopreservetheintra-mediaandinter-mediatemporalrelationship. The experimental results show the approach is valid and robust.
