Face Detection Based on Skin Color and Independent Component
基于肤色和独立成分的人脸检测*

Most algorithms of face detection are implemented in gray image at present,and discard color information.But skin segmentation is an important process in computer vision algorithms.In order to improve the speed and accuracy of detecting human face in images,skin segmentation model are realized in H-S space by analysing the distribution of skin color.And a face detection algorithm that combines skin color and independent component analysis is provided on the foundation of the algorithm presented by Aapo Hyvrinen and Erkki Oja~(1]).The experimental result show that this algorithm is correct.
