Based the producing process of video summarization,the paper put forward a classification method,made overall assessment of several cases,and reflected position of the technique levels and standard of various video summarization from the four facets of result,information sources,characterization grade and granularity.Then the thesis analyzed the present research status quo,pointed out the direction for further research in the field.
