An Efficient Hybrid Location Scheme

Presents a hybrid data location scheme by combining centralized location scheme,which based on C/S model with decentralized location scheme based on Peer-to-Peer computing model.This scheme has not only some good features of the decentralized schemes,such as scalability,fault-tolerance, and self-organization,but also some advantages of the centralized schemes,such as centralized management and control,security,etc.Simulation experiment results show that the Relative Delay Penalty (RDP) of this scheme is better than those of conventional decentralized location schemes and the actual location time is far less than those of conventional decentralized location schemes.
