Design and Implementation of Log Management System in Engineering Database

This paper presents a method to design and implement an ARIES-supporting log management system in engineering database.Log records are organized by their own LSNs,which makes reading and writing log records more efficiently.This method also speeds up the instance recovery and transaction rollback processes.ARIES can be implemented on this system.
