An Algorithm of Automatic Background Extraction of Target Based on Fast Motion

This paper presents an algorithm of automatic background extraction of target based on fast motion.At first,the frame difference of the current frame under a fixed scene is binarized,and the binary image of the frame difference is operated by consecutive morphological dilation,reconstruction and erosion,then the current frame updates the background according to the binary image processed by morphology.The background can be extracted after dozens of iterative operations of the subsequent frames.The experiments show that the algorithm can extract background effectively and quickly.
