Research on SCTP Load Sharing and Its Key Algorithm

One of the important features of SCTP is multihoming. SCTP load sharing using the feature can improve the throughput of SCTP association. Original congestion control mechanism should be modified to implement load sharing. The new algorithm, split fast retransmit, is the key of SCTP load sharing.NS-2 simulations prove that the scheme is effective.
