Study of Synchronization of Streaming Media
流媒体同步机制的研究*

Multimedia synchronization is one of major issues in multimedia applications. This paper introduced some synchronization methods about multimedia transmission and has carried on simple comparison to these methods. On the base of this, it proposesanewmultimediasynchronisticmodel,based onthetransmittechnologyof streamingmediaandRTP/RTCP protocols. This model is combination organically of the method of delamination synchronization and the method of timestamp synchronization, have realized the synchronization of different granularity among the media.
