Radiation Damage Behavior of Carbide in Long Term Aging Treatmented Low Activation Austenitic Fe-Cr-Mn Alloy
|
Abstract:
Electron beam and dual-beam (electron-hilum ion) irradiation damage characteristics of carbide in Fe-Cr-Mn steel treated by long term aging treatment were in situ investigated. The results indicate that the voids were form inside carbide and along interface of carbide/7-matrix. The interface migration and segregation of Cr, Mn, W and V at the interface are observed. The phase stability and reason of the irradiation damage of precipitated carbide are discussed with the interaction between point defects and solute elements and radiation-induced synergistic effect of hilum. The interface migration also is a form of irradiation damage.
