INTERFACE STRUCTURE OF ZrO_2-Ni FUNCTIONALLY GRADIENT MATERIAL

Abstract:
The morphology and fine structure of phase interface in ZrO2-Ni functionally gradient material (FGM) were investigated by TEM and HREM. Most of the interfaces between ZrO2 and Ni components in the FGM are directly connected and no interface reaction has been detected. The t / m interface in ZrO2 component is coherent and contains structural steps. Furthermore, there are quite many growth defects-Frank dislocations near the Ni twin boundary.(Correspondent: ZHU Jingchuan, Campus Post Box 433, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin 150001)
