EFFECT OF COOLING RATE AND Ce CONTENT ON STRUCTURE OF RAPIDLY SOLIDIFIED Al-Ce BINARY ALLOYS
|
Abstract:
Less Ce content in rapidly solidified Al-Ce alloys at a certain cooling rate was found to facilitate the formation of granular disperse phase. While the alloys with definite composition may easily precipitate globular grains of higher dispersity if the cooling rate was accelerated.
