Ammonia nitrogen dynamic adsorption from low concentration wastewater by modified zeolite
|
Abstract:
Sodium chloride aqueous solution was used to modify the natural zeolite obtained from Gansu Province. The properties of low concentration ammonia nitrogen(NH4+-N)dynamic adsorption from wastewater by the natural and modified zeolites were studied. Breakthrough curve was drawed and the experimental data were dealt by Origin software to get the model of breakthrough curve equation. The results showed that under the same conditions, the penetration and saturation time of modified zeolite column was about 1.5 times longer than that of natural zeolite column. The adsorption rate and adsorption capacity of modified zeolite by sodium chloride were significantly improved. It indicated that Logistic model was fit for the dynamic adsorption of NH4+-N on the zeolite by linear correlative coefficient of breakthrough curve.
