Advanced oxidation of olaquindox and tetracydline antibiotics in biogas slurry by microwave-Fenton
|
Abstract:
An experimental system of microwave-assisted Fenton oxidation was designed to degrade olaquindox, oxytetracycline, tetracycline and chlortracycline in biogas slurry. The influences of H2O2 mass concentration,Fe2+ mass concentration, initial pH,microwave irradiation time and power on degradation efficiency were investigated. The optimal conditions were determined as follows:the H2O2 dosage of 40 mg/L,the Fe2+ dosage of 12 mg/L,initial pH of 4,microwave reaction of 2 min and power of 445 W. Under the optimum conditions, the removal rate was 67% for olaquindox,93% for oxytetracycline,91% for tetracycline,88% for chlortracycline and 46% for COD. It is known from the contrast experiments that microwave-assisted Fenton oxidation has obvious supority.
