Establishment and application of prediction model for organic concentration in landfill leachate

Abstract:
The prediction model of organic concentration in the landfill leachate is established in the article, which is on the basis of analyzing the organic concentration changing regulation. The model parameters are derived from the simulation experiment. The relativity between the predicted value and the measured value is about 90%, which means that the model can overall reflect the changing regulation factually. At the same time, the model is applied to predict the changing regulation of the organic concentration in the Dam area of Guangxi Nanning Southern Landfill. The result shows that the maximum value of the organic concentration comes up to 18 000 mg/L, then declines quickly, and the stable value maintains at about 3 000 mg/L in a long period ( within 1 to 3 years). Until the landfill is closed, the organic concentration in landfill leachate is still over 2 000 mg/L.
