Study on removing SO2 from simulated industrial waste gas by rotating packed bed
|
Abstract:
The removal of 3% SO2 in the rotating packed bed was studied by using monoethanolamine (MEA) as the absorbent. The effect of rotating speed, gas-liquid ratio, absorbent temperature and absorbent concentration on SO2 removal efficiency was investigated. SO2 removal efficiency in different absorbents was also explored and it was found that 1 mol/L piperazine (PZ) and 1 mol/L methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) exhibited best and poorest-removal effects, respectively.
