Research on enhancement of excess sludge breakage by combining Tween80 and sodium hydroxide

Tween80 combined with sodium hydroxide was used in the process of excess sludge breakage for its wetting and penetration characteristics.The results showed that Tween80 could facilitate the effect of sodium hydroxide on sludge breakage,moreover,under the same sludge breakage effect;Tween80 could drop the circumstance temperature during the breakage process.The optimum conditions of breakage technology were Tween80 dosage of 100 mg/L,time of 15 min,and adding Tween80 prior to sodium hydroxide.Furthermore,the...
