Coagulation of high turbidity flotation wastewater of molybdenum ore
|
Abstract:
The residual turbidity and COD of the wastewater with different coagulants, different pH value and different hydraulic conditions were examined, using PAC, PFS and FeCl3 as coagulants, APAM-A and APAM-N as flocculants, H2SO4 and NaOH as pH regulators. The results show that the effects were optimum with the combination of 15 g/t APAM-A and 750 g/t PAC, and the pH value without regulation under the best hydraulic condition. The turbidity of the wastewater after treatment was 25 NTU, and COD was less than 30 mg/L. The treated wastewater was reused in the flotation and the mineral indexes were improved greatly.
