Study of earthworm ecology filter for rural sewage purification
|
Abstract:
In this study,multi-stage earthworm ecology filter was used for sewage treatment in rural areas. The removal efficiencies of COD,TN,NH+4-N,TP and analyst microbial communities by PCR-DGGE in different seasons were investigated. The results showed that removal efficiencies(COD,TN,NH+4-N and TP) reached 86.05%,89.02%,98.48% and 99.1% in summer and 83.29%,93.26%,96.96% and 92.7% in winter. The effluent concentrations of COD,TN,NH+4-N and TP were 17.86 mg/L,4.96 mg/L,0.605 mg/L,0.047 mg/L and 22.68 mg/L,2.63 mg/L,1.02 mg/L and 0.37 mg/L in the two different seasons, which met the need of "Urban Sewage Treatment Plant Pollutant Discharge Standard"(GB18918-2002) Class A.Microbial diversity in winter was richer than that in summer and species increased gradually from top to bottom, because of the same change of pollutant removal efficiency.
