Effect of multiple microelectrolysis process on pretreatment of high concentration chemical cleaning wastewater
|
Abstract:
Coagulation sedimentation and multiple micro-electrolysis processes were used to pretreat high concentration chemical cleaning wastewater and the organics removal efficency and biodegradability were investigated respectively. The results show that the COD average removal rate reached 60% under the conditions of pH value of 3.0,filling rate of 1:3,micro-electrolysis reaction time of 1 h,gas-water ratio of 1:1,and the rate of direct coagulation sedimentation was merely 10.5%.The biodegradability was improved greatly with the BOD5/COD ratio increased from 0.12 to 0.32,and the loading of subsequent biochemical treatment decreased. The multiple micro-electrolysis process is an effective pretreatment method for high concentration chemical cleaning wastewater.
