Applied study of biofilm carrier-macrophyte assemblage in strengthening river water treatment
|
Abstract:
New type of hydrophilic and hydrophobic materials were selected as biofilm carriers, and the water treatment properties of biofim carrier-macrophyte assemblage technology was studied under static flow pattern and in situ water column of Hongqi River. The aim of static experiment was to select biofilm carrier with better performance of water purification for the next in situ river experiment. In the study, local popular macrophytes of Myriophyllum spicatum, Ceratophyllum demersum and Elodea nuttallii were chosen for the experiment. The in situ experiment was conducted to further investigate the properties of selected biofilm carrier and the rejoined purification effect of biofim carrier-macrophyte assemblage in Hongqi River. The results showed that it had better water treatment effect during in situ experiment, and the average removal percentages of NH4+-N, NO2--N, NO3--N, total N(TN), PO43- and total P(TP) were 69.07%, 70.28%, 47.58%, 53.28%, 84.88% and 83.50%, respectively. The average rate of biofilm culturing was 453.01 nmol/(g·d).
